Sanctuary at St Andrew's
|
At the end of a busy day, you'll find peace and space to reflect at Sanctuary, the early evening service at St Andrew's.
As you walk down the path from Benton Metro, at about 5.30 on a Wednesday evening, look to your left and 'bend your steps' into our doorway, where you'll find a friendly face to greet and welcome you but not to bother you, quiet music, a warm and peaceful space, a comfortable place to sit.
At 6pm, there's a short service, with lots of quiet, time to pray, maybe a short hymn, maybe a meditation, something to think about or ponder on.
You can come in and go out when you wish.
A good way to end your day.
We recently welcomed Joan, a visitor from New Zealand, who writes: "I found Sanctuary to be a quiet welcoming space in the week, to reflect with music and readings on things that matter in our lives.”
We look forward to welcoming you and hope you have the same experience. |
